La Plantation d'Albion Club Med Mauritius

The Albion Club Village is truly amazing! Very natural setting, nice gardens and beaches, and a lovely Zen Pool for adults only.
Food and Bars top quality. Great entertainment.
Beautiful rooms- we stayed in a Suite with sea view.
The top rating goes to the Staff. Nice, experienced, service oriented GOs everywhere !
Special thanks to Ashley in the water team! He is just going the extra mile to help you enjoy snorkeling, stand up paddle, kayak… he is kind, experienced, always in a good mood and loves his native Mauritius. He is certainly a good example of a Club Med GO with great potential!
Also special thanks to Joy, in the restaurant. He is already a good friend from other Villages.

Don’t miss this Club Med !

The kids clubs (2-3 yo and 4-10 yo) were absolutely phenomenal - the staff poured their hearts and souls into entertaining our kids and were working hard to make each day memorable and special for them. This set the stage for a lovely family vacation, with plenty of alone time for the parents. Sports activities were great too, we tried football, yoga, fitness, zumba, snorkeling - no disappointments. The food and buffet were great, varied, fresh and healthy - with so much choice each meal, the only weak point was the table service ( drinks will come late if at all, and there were issues with comprehension, I once received an entire lemon when asking for coke with ice and lemon). The gardens were beautiful and the birds singing was magical.

I again had a wonderful time in Club Med Albion. And as many others times there, the circus team was amazing. Coco, Gaby, Josephine, Ami and Aurelien (Scott:-)) thank you so much for your great teachings, your personal attention for everyone and the great atmosphere you manage to create among the GM’s. And of course for your spectacular performances at night!
I had also been allocated a very nice, large room with a gorgeous view of the ocean and direct access to a beach. With the black lava rocks and the big trees it was quite a magical setting. Housekeeping staff as well as the bar team that refills the minibar are very nice and effective! Minibar most of the time refilled and room kept very clean. Also a big thank you to Maria, Welcome services manager, and her team for the attentive and friendly service ! I will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our trip with our 3 and 5 year old and overall would go back. Food for adults was excellent, including snacks. Food for children was not ideal with dinner not being served until 1930 and snacks being limited before that. If you have children that don’t eat oysters, perhaps take some snacks with you!
Location wise, it wasn’t the best to explore the island - but it depends on how often you plan to leave the hotel. If you don’t, it was excellent with lots to do on site.
