Learn moreThanks to the team who took care of us so well - Michaela in our rooms, Jason at the bar and Kat in the mini club. We had another wonderful stay and will be back.
See on TripAdvisorOur first-ever Club Med experience, and WOW — what a fantastic time we had! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and always ready with a smile. We had such a wonderful, relaxing holiday! ☀️🍹
A special shout-out to Michaela, who did an incredible job keeping our room (3020) spotless throughout our stay. Coming back to a beautifully clean room every day definitely added to the holiday feeling! 🧹✨
And then there was Jason, who became our go-to guy for all things liquid refreshments! 🍹😂 He was brilliant at helping us decide what to try and went above and beyond making our little boy a whole variety of fruity drinks. His absolute favourite? The Pineapple Express! 🍍🚂 Needless to say, it was ordered more than once!
It was also lovely meeting fellow Saffas, Jason and Katlego — always great to have a good chat with some familiar South African spirit while enjoying paradise! 🇿🇦
We were lucky enough to have good weather for most of our trip, so the time of year worked really well for us. We did catch the last week of the French school holidays, so the resort was definitely busy, but it still had a fun, festive atmosphere and didn’t take away from our experience.
Overall, we had an absolutely lovely holiday and would highly recommend Club Med Mauritius. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful people, great weather and plenty of happy memories — what more could you ask for? 🌴❤️
We’ll definitely be back! 🍍☀️
See on TripAdvisorWe enjoyed our 5 days at Club Med, even though we were the only English family there (all the staff spoke good English). We loved the sailing, water skiing (although it did get busy so there is quite a bit of waiting for your turn), SUP, kayak, aquafit and snorkelling (make sure you go early to the booking slot to get the time your want - we managed to go twice in out 5 days). All of these activities are free.
The resort is large but well maintained and the main pool is nice.
There is a good choice of well prepared food for all 3 meals, and you can get food at the beach front restaurant outside the main restaurant hours.
The rooms are well looked after, if a little dark - but you don't spend much time in your room!
The beach is beautiful, and you can walk out of the resort along the beach both ways - none of the beaches are private.
See on TripAdvisorWe had a great family holiday. Food is great, climate is ideal for young kids and the club makes it easy for families. We all found activities and a rhythm that suited us. The location and the lagoon have a lot to offer! There is a large choice of activities and the amnesties are well thought for families.
I want to wholeheartedly thank Bharati for taking care of us. She is a delight to meet, always joyful. Thanks to her, we felt very comfortable in our room which was always spotless. She has our wellbeing at heart and she always has an eye for the little details that make us feel special.
I also want to thank Valdo & Nono (catamaran), Lorenzo (snorkeling), Calvin (pool) and Rivaldo (restaurant) for their kindness and good care. They made our holidays great!
We visited this Club 11 years ago and I can tell it is not aging very well.
My interactions with the reception were not the nicest. I would appreciate better care.
And I would suggest to heat up the family pool. In winter, it’s a bit cold for young kids who don’t get a chance to enjoy it to the fullest.
We had one slightly unpleasant experience. As we found mouse excrements in our room several times, we informed the reception. Other than cleaning, no preventive/resolution measure were initially taken. They finally put traps after a week of repeated complaints. When we discussed with the Direction, we were told that it is not dirty and we were asked what the solution was. Please let me be the judge of what is dirty and what isn’t in the place I sleep. Also, it is your job to offer a solution. Especially for the amount of money we spend to stay there. Mices are part of nature, though it is not okay when they poop in my baby’s buggy.
See on TripAdvisorWe've just returned from Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers and I'm still blown away. From the food to the entertainment, the activities and the sheer warmth of everyone we met, every day somehow exceeded the last. As a family we were catered for at every turn, and I've come home properly refreshed and relaxed, which is no small thing.
The team made it. The Chief of Village and his G.Os created an energy that carried through the whole village. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I know how much work goes into making something look that effortless and seamless. That's the highest compliment I can pay them.
I've already recommended you to friends on the Isle of Man looking for a family honeymoon destination.
Please do read this out to the whole team. They deserve every bit of kudos going. Thank you for an incredible holiday.
