Michès Playa Esmeralda Dominican Republic

Club Med Miches was lovely! My family agreed that it's our favorite that we've been to. The food, atmosphere, and beaches were all great. One highlight was trapeze; the circus team was very kind and talented. Tammy, Candela, Kenzy, Joel, and Nacho were knowledgeable, fun, helpful, extremely encouraging, and they always went above and beyond. Anais and Severine from the teens club were also so fun and created an amazing environment, keeping the fun going all day. Marie from fitness and Leo from watersports were also great!

Food every single meal of every day we were there was exceeding expectations. Rooms are spotless and the cleaning staff are coming multiple times a day to tidy and replace waters.

Connendor (sp?) was a gentleman for reserving us a large table at the upstairs buffet outside every night for our party of 14.

Enmanuel at the Romana Beach bar and his crew were awesome bartenders.

I just left this amazing Club Med after two weeks, and honestly, it was probably one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The activities such as volleyball, tennis, wing foil are excellent just like the infrastructures. The restaurant is amazing, especially the japanese food.

The GO team is amazing, always here to help. I would like to thank the reception team, including Ilias, Emma, Hugo, Miguel, and Ayoub. They are always here to help with any confusion or request.
I would also like to thank the watersports, bar, and Mini Club teams, including Quentin, Kian, Leo, Jade, Juan, Séverine, Jean-Charles, and Anaïs. They all made my stay way better.

I would like to thank the Chief of the Village, Harrison, for being extremely present in the village and hosting a lot of activities, like the GO/GM tournament and the Bastille Day events.

The only downside to this Club Med is the nightlife, with a DJ running a playlist and stopping the music at midnight.

To summarize, the two weeks in Michès felt like three days. I had such a great vacation in Michès, and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely resort with excellent food, good snorkeling and water sports, and tons of activities. The highlight of our trip was learning trapeze tricks with the circus team. Tammy, Kenzy, Joel, and Nacho are amazing teachers! At 41, I never dreamed I’d be trying the flying trapeze, but they patiently helped me learn the trick and then Nacho caught me during the catch session. They are consummate professionals and take safety very seriously. My husband, 12 year old sons, and me all did it and loved it. Then at the evening shows we got to see them perform aerial silks and other circus routines worthy of a Vegas stage. Trust me, you don’t want to miss them!

Club Med Miches is a lovely, relatively new resort. It has beautiful amenities and activities. My daughter loved the trapeze, and I played lots of tennis and pickleball. We had some sargassum on the beach (July, which is the season) so we spent more time in the pool. I had issues with bug bites, notwithstanding liberal use of insect repellent and noticing regular spraying. However, my daughter, and I’d say about 90% of the guests did not seem to have this problem… I must be allergic to the bites. Very friendly resort, high quality food and drinks and amazing CM vibe. It would be a 10/10 were I not for the bites and sargassum (which the resort was cleaning up and beyond their control).
